The Darkness - I Believe in a Thing Called Love

Morning rock to help me wake up.

This song never fails to make me feel elated.  Don’t mind me, I’ll just be here— jumping up and down in my cube, singing at the top of my lungs.

You are in my head this morning. This is one of those songs that I  can’t help but rock the hell out to, if by “rock the hell out” you mean dancing and yelling the words into a hairbrush and flipping my hair from side to side.

I was watching Bridget Jones’ Diary 2 over the weekend (don’t ask) and during the feeble fight scene between Hugh Grant’s character and Colin Firth’s character this song was playing in the background, and it reminded me of just how much I liked this song. I’ve had it stuck in my head all week.

I still don’t know what the appeal was with Colin Firth’s character in the movie, he was a total prude.
